Super shells of neutral hydrogen
(1993)

Thirty four galactic neutral hydrogen "Super shells" are investigated with the high angular resolution on the base of the RATAN-600 HI Survey (figure 1). Their observable parameters are updated and some interesting feature of their morphology in (alpha-delta-V) volume are found. These features force to refuse the conventional interpretation these objects, as envelopes HI, arisen in an outcome of super nova explosions (that, as is known, results in essential difficulties with energy supply) and to consider them as a part of a normal galactic structure of HI gas (layered structure - figure 2). Such interpretation completely removes all problems with sources energy in these objects.
